Join us on Saturday, June 24, from 1:30 to 3:30, for a special fund-raiser to support the yoga program at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women. All donations are tax deductible.
Suggested donation is $45, but feel free to give more. (Checks to Liberation Prison Yoga.)
You can practice the traditional 108 salutations or a variety of variations and other options, including meditation or a gentle practice that suits you, with guidance from Club Fit yoga staff.
No better way to hail the sun while supporting the yoga and meditation program at the women’s prison, where Liberation Prison Yoga offers two yoga classes per week, as well as meditation. Share your love of yoga with this underserved population, for whom it can save lives.
Give in the spirit of the Bhagavad Gita: selfless action and caring for others. Every penny goes to the incarcerated yogis.
To register, email mirijana.kocho@gmail.com.
Presented by Yoga for Body and Mind, Yoga Teachers Association, Liberation Prison Yoga, and Club Fit.
