Be inspired, strengthened, and renewed as you experience the eternal energy of yoga with 100-years-young Tao Porchon-Lynch. Use the four pillars of yoga—pranayama (breath work), mudras (gestures), bandhas (energetic locks), and chakras (energy centers)—to explore the rich potential of the body to renew, heal, and revitalize. Practice Tao’s special “yoga tango” and learn subtle techniques that are not taught anywhere else.

As Tao shares stories from her life and lessons she has learned from her journey across multiple continents, you will discover her approach to overcoming obstacles and living mindfully. Still actively teaching yoga and enjoying ballroom dancing, she will motivate you with her positive thinking and her living mantra: “There is nothing you cannot do.”

Tao Porchon-Lynch started practicing yoga at age eight, and her teachers were a Who’s Who of the spiritual world, from the Maharishi to BKS Iyengar and K. Pattabhi Jois. Tao founded the Westchester Institute of Yoga in 1982 and has shared her wisdom in many ways, including at the Newark Peace Education Summit with his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and in a TEDx talk at Columbia University.
