Please join us as we honor and remember former YTA president Audrey Brooks in a celebration of her life.
We will come together to share memories and anecdotes of a truly kind, generous, and gracious woman who is greatly missed. There will be two sessions of active tribute to Audrey: Donna Bernstein will lead us in Laughter Yoga and Deirdre Breen will share yogic and ayurvedic practices for grief and healing. Light refreshments will be available.
Registration is by donation, and all donations will be added to the YTA's gift to the Mental Health Association of Westchester. This gift represents the launch of the the annual donation program created by the current board in Audrey's memory. At the end of each workshop season, the YTA will make a donation to an organization that supports our mission to create a community that taps into the power of yoga to change attitudes, lives, and ultimately the world. The MHA of Westchester was chosen as a place where Audrey left her mark as a cofounder of the Get on Your Mat for Mental Health event as well as the creator of relationships that led to other lasting programs and connections.
